The app

SnippySnip runs entirely on your Mac. It contains no telemetry, no analytics, and no tracking. Your screenshots and recordings are stored only on your device and are never transmitted anywhere unless you copy, save, share, or upload them yourself.

SnippySnip requests macOS Screen Recording permission solely to capture your screen when you ask it to, and (optionally) Microphone permission to include narration in recordings you start. These permissions are managed by macOS and can be revoked at any time in System Settings.

This website

• If you join the launch list, we store the email address you submit and use it only to tell you about SnippySnip's availability and updates. Unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email, and we'll delete your address.
• We use privacy-respecting, aggregate page analytics (no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers).
• We do not sell or share personal information with anyone.

Purchases

When purchasing becomes available, payments will be processed by our merchant of record, which handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive only what's needed to deliver your license (name, email, license key).
